What is CBD Crystal ?

CBD crystal, or CBD isolate, is a type of CBD supplementation that provides the cannabinoid compound Cannabidiol at its purest form. It typically comes in the shape of white powder with 99% cannabidiol ingredient.

CBD is an all-natural cannabinoid compound present in the cannabis and hemp plants. CBD can be extracted from these plants in the form of CBD oil. CBD Crystals is initially considered a hemp-derived CBD oil. Afterward, all of the plants’ natural cannabinoids except for CBD are removed, leaving CBD at its pure crystalline powder form.

Besides being a valuable source of CBD, there are many reasons why many consumers prefer CBD crystals (or isolates). A major advantage of pure CBD crystal is that it has no measurable quantities of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the intoxicating compound found in marijuana with the psychoactive properties. Hemp CBD oil naturally has only trace amounts of THC and when it goes into the purification process, this limited amount of THC is removed to leave CBD isolates in its purest form.

How do CBD Crystals (Isolates) Interact with The Body ?

CBD isolates in CBD crystals have various effects on our bodies through its interaction with the native endocannabinoid system (ECS). This large self-regulatory system, found in all of our bodies, plays a role in many essential physiological functions that are related to the central and peripheral nervous systems as well as our immune system. The Endocannabinoid system is the main handler of many key aspects of our biology, serving an important purpose in maintaining our health and well-being.

Cannabidiol in CBD crystals then interacts with specialized receptor sites, called cannabinoid receptor, which are found throughout the entire body. The ECS is made up of two types of cannabinoid receptors: cannabinoid receptors type 1 (CB1) and type 2 (CB2). The CB1 receptors are localized mostly in the brain and central nervous system, while CB2 receptors are mainly located in the immune system cells.

By acting on the targeted receptors, CBD isolates can help coordinate and regulate a wide variety of effects that can influence how you feel, think, and function.

What Kind of Effects Does CBD Crystal Have ?

Over the years, our understanding of the effects of CBD has evolved. We are more aware now that ever of the beneficial properties CBD exhibits and how using CBD crystals as a nutritional supplementation supports our inner balance and maintains wellbeing.

The stimulation of the endocannabinoid system through the interaction between CBD isolates and the targeted cannabinoid receptors in the brain and in our immune system helps support the ECS and its potency to efficiently regulate the many biological functions in our bodies, ranging from pain control to the suppression of inflammation and many other functions. An endocannabinoid system that is more efficient results in greater balance and optimal functioning.

Although CBD isolates in CBD crystals interact with and influence the ECS and its receptors, however, the way that CBD affects our bodies tends to vary in every individual. This could be related to the small differences in the biological functions in our bodies. That being said, CBD exhibits many therapeutic properties that have been proven or yet to be proven effective in the management of various symptoms and illnesses.

Herein, we report some of the promising therapeutic benefits of CBD as reported in various scientific studies:

  1. Controls Pain
  2. Suppresses Inflammation as in Inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis).
  3. Relieves Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting
  4. Decreases the frequency of Epileptic attacks and seizures
  5. It manages Fibromyalgia and Multiple Sclerosis

CBD Crystals Side Effects: Are There Any ?

Many investigations have been conducted in order to determine whether CBD has any limiting side effects or adverse reactions and a huge body of evidence supports the conclusion that CBD has no or very minimal side effects that are not devastating. For instance, CBD isolate doesn’t cause a “high” sensation as THC does. Furthermore, the research on the safety profile of CBD has concluded that it is well-tolerated and safe with no serious adverse effects.
