Over the years, people have become aware of what CBD stands for. CBD, also acknowledged as cannabidiol, is a compound mainly found in hemp and cannabis. It should be noted that CBD is derived from hemp and not marijuana since it does not have the psychoactive properties of marijuana. Delta 9 THC, which is psychoactive and gets you ‘high’ is not found in the CBD oil. According to research, both man and dog have the same endocannabinoid system (ECS). CBD is known for calming and relaxing a person and relieving his/her anxiety. However, we often think why do we use it on dogs? CBD works by targeting the ECS receptors that help restore balance.
